I led this walk with 5 walking. 4 of us met at the Shed and drove to Kellaway St, Hackett where we met one more. We started walking around 8.28AM & then we walked up Hancocks Rd to the top of the range, although we deviated on a parallel walking pad to the south to get some nice tree cover. From the top we walked down Hancocks Rd until we reached the Telecom Rd & headed south along it for around 2.1Km until we could turn to the south west, walking past the Canberra National Pistol Range, across Mt Ainslie Rd, then along a short track that took us into Rosenthal St, Campbell before we then turned into Cobby St, which we followed all the way to Treloar Cres, across it & into the AWM & straight to Poppys Cafe. Cobby St was partially lined with fairly new or refurbished modern houses & looked impressive.

Harry was an angel & bought some of us coffees or milk shakes.  After a break we headed back up to the nature park & walked along various tracks on its south east & east side, such as Honor Thwaites Tk, Socks Tk, Ainslie Link Trail & the 132KVW Powerline West Trail, before we ended up on a shortcut from the Old Tip Trail back to the cars.

Note this was near repeat of walk 70 of Jun 2013.

It was a Medium Walk of 10.6Km.
