I led this walk with 3 of us walking. We all assembled at the car park next to the Emergency Services depot on Bindubi St, Aranda near Jamison by 8.45AM.
We left around 8.53AM & walked east across the Aranda Playing fields & adjacent to a school. After travelling for 250m we turned south & went under Bandjalung Cres, then past Aranda Prinary School & the old Aranda shops.
We followed the walking path all the way to the top of Aranda & entered Aranda Bushland after 900m.
We then went downhill over a range of various grassy & muddy tracks until we found out way to Bindubi St joining the bike path & going under Bindubi St to turn north & head up over a small hill to reach the edge of the Wyabalena Special Estate area.
We then went west a little before trying several wet & muddy sections passing Wybalena area & joining the cycling path that headed down north towards Belconnen Town centre.
We crossed a couple of main streets before coming into Jamison Centre from its west side over several lanes.
We ended by having a coffee & 2 hot chocolates at Ricardos Cafe. We finished at 10.56AM while one walker stayed in Jamison for some shopping. A nice little easy type of walk with a wide range of paths and vegetation.
Easy-Medium walk of 5.3km. We started walking at 8.53AM & returned to the cars at 10.56AMPM thus taking 2hr3m.
