2021 01 28 Ginninderra Ck Kippax Social Walk with MelbaShed
This was a 9.8Km social walk from a Melba Shed Car Park through the suburbs of Flynn, Latham, along Ginnderra Ck to Kippax Shops where we stopped for coffee & nibbles Lucky Shot Cafe, and then back through Latham. This was Melba Shed walk No 246 of 28th Jan 2021.

I led this walk with 6 walking. We all met at Shed by 8AM & from 8.08AM we walked down & across Kingsford Smith Dr, then along Companion Cres turning south to take a footpath down to then walk under Ginninderra Dr & across to Ginninderra Ck.
We then walked along the path next to Latham until we reached Kippax & stopped for coffees, shakes and nibbles at the Lucky Shot Cafe. Nice coffee and milk shakes although Bob was put off by no strawberry flavored shake being. available.
On the return we followed the same route until we could turn west & cross Ginninderra Ck again on Florey Drive bridge walking then along the creek to cross it again on the famous Stepping Stones. Then we back tracked a little to walk up along direct paths through Latham to cross under Kingsford Smith Dr & turn left at St Francis Xavier High School, then along paths through West Florey to take an underpass under Ginninderra Dr again & return along Kingsford Smith Dr to the Shed, finishing at 10.50AM.
It was an Easy-Medium social walk of 9.8Km, taking 2hrs 42m incl the break.
