Greg’s Walking & Historical Blog

Red Neck Wallaby with very large joey in the pouch

This will mainly be about my walks over the years with emphasis on the more recent walks and special projects. I will provide photos where possible and gpx/kml GPS files with relevant waypoints included.

Please note that this site is in development to replace the old and ageing Actelan Dreamweaver basic site. I am gradually eliminating the old site

I am still sorting out how I wish to display information. I have started adding posts on mainly older historical walks or adventures. These will be mixed with current walks and some Melba Shed fortnightly (ie 2 weeks) walks around Canberra

Like many I have a huge pile of old 35mm slides covering trips around Australia and the world and some long walks I did when younger. I have started scanning some slides and even color and black & white negatives. Its a slow and long process

Many of the walks described on this blog can be difficult, long and physically demanding for a fit and experienced person or party. Undertake them at your own risk.

Testing body fonts

Georgia 16 – I discovered that the Posts & Pages actually defaults to Georgia 16 as the Edit program has limited fonts. So this over rides the Theme default
