This walk was mainly led by Tony Danaro, with 9 of us walking along the path next to Ginninderra Creek. We walked mostly on bitumen footpaths. This was conceived as a short easy summer short walk for MelbaShed

9 of us met at the Shed and then from 8.05AM we walked along a little of Ginninderra Drive and then along the path along Ginninderra Ck to Kippax where we had coffee & pensioners’ toasted sandwiches at Maccas. We then returned the same way although taking the path on the west side of the creek and returned through Flynn to the Shed. The weather was fine, with a cool breeze but sunny. Wally K was able to head straight home from Kippax to avoid having to return with us to Melba.
The walk was an Easy-Medium walk of distance of 8.9Km, mostly on footpaths. We took around 2hrs 30mins, with about 30 mins included for the coffee break.
