    I led this walk around Rob Roy Nature Reserve in the southern areas of Canberra, ACT with 8 of us walking. We met at Melba Shed by 8.30AM & drove in 2 cars to Banks where we parked & then walked from 9.25AM up to Mt Rob Roy & on the way back visited Big Monks

    A 11.2Km walk to check out options for a walk for Melba Shed guys from Palmerville Historic park to Percival Hill, then to Gold Creek for coffee. Then returning along the Canberra Centennial Trail to Palmerville. We did some exploration of Palmerville & Percival Hill looking for interesting routes, views and historic sites

    This was a 15.0Km walk with Drew McDonald around the Glenburn & Burbang areas of Kowen Forest to visit the historic sites still there as well as to see if the walk would be suitable for Melba Shed. It surprised us with its richness of early Canberra & region history. To visit the site of the earliest known European graves in the ACT, the Colverwell Graves from 1837 was a privilege
